Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounts Receivables/Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in California. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in handling financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency of the accounting department by managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Handling accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and collection activities.
  • Maintaining financial records within NetSuite, with a preference for candidates familiar with this system.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with company policies.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports as required.
  • Providing support during audits and financial reviews.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
  • Ensuring all financial transactions comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, first shift hours.

Benefits

Competitive compensation with a pay range of $26 to $34 per hour.
